MY BIOGRAPHY FROM 1968 TO 1980

I began to play with (Urbin Salamin Band), on February until December 1968. During these 10 months I suffered from this new night life, which required not only to be to a  different places, clubs, city's every month, but also sometime I had to travel, either  in train or driving  more than 12 hours to reach the city where we were supposed to play the same day.
In addition Urbin Salamin (the band Leader) demanded that the band do a lot of practices everyday and it was very exhausting for me.
Although my new situation in the music business, I wasn't ready to give up because only thinking of my ex-job in the construction in Cannes, I felt lucky to be at that time with a band, which changed my life for good.

Hit Boy's On Stage

After a 10 months tour with the band that I was with since February 1968,  finally I found a new band, with which I will play for the next 12 months all over "Europe", "The Hit Boys".
This bandwas very known  in Europe. It was composed with Noel Longchamp band leader playing (Bass, Lead Vocal), Pierre Chave (Keyboarder & Singer), Bernard Lefoulon (Guitar and Vocal), Alain Michou (Saxophone), and Alan Renaglia (Drums and Background Vocal). The "Hit Boys" had not only a great repertory, but also a
1 hour show which was presented as (Miss Ninette) who was myself disguised as a woman  with a short skirt, high hills red sox and as breast! (2 Apples) in a bra.

An other very good winter ski station is "Villars s/Ollon" (Wallis). It's a very nice small town, which is surrounded by high mountains and has a view of the Leman Lake known as the "Lake of Geneva".
We were playing there in Dec.1969.

I ended my music relationship with the Band "Hit Boy's" in December 1969 like every relationship end. The band fell a part and all the musicians went to their own way. Some quitted, others continued in the music business As the musicians environment was changing very drastically view the beginning of the disco music and the cost of bands which was higher than hire a Disc Jockey,  I decided to continue my way as musician being in it only for two years. As I said above,  I wasn't ready to go back to work all day in the construction again.  It was a good decision because the future reserved me a lot of good surprises!

Back in Switzerland I wanted (I don't know the reason) to play with an other band and playing a different kind of Music.
I came to know that a very good band was looking for a drummer and it was playing in the most and best place in Switzerland at that time called "Hazy Land" which was the "Nick Name for Hazy Osterwald a well known band leader and composer.
I was really enthusiastic to have this opportunity and went play with a band named

September 1969 London. We had the opportunity to flight to England for a two days gigs at "The Revolution" in London. It was great but short. I heard a few year later that this club burned just after four month of our gig there.  Was the band to hot?

Piccadilly Circus 1969

1969: This portrait was design by an artist, who had his job in one of the most special and beautiful restaurant in London.
Special because not only it had many artist who was going there but also a stage not to play music, but to allow woman customers to go on stage and be painted either (NUDE) or with lingerie if they wanted.
That night I was very focus to look at this special and unique place, which unfortunately, I forgot the name!.
